Cultural Ambassador
Employment Status: Full-Time Term Position (Summer Job - May-September)
Hourly Wage: $21/hr, 37.5 hours a week

The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre is seeking youth with an outgoing personality and a strong desire to learn more about First Nation culture to join us as a Cultural Ambassador. You will work with elders, artists, provide summer tours, and learn all about working in a museum environment and the cultural industry of the Yukon.
This position will deliver interpretive programming, engage with the community, assist with special events, and work in a gallery setting. You will have opportunities to participate in artistic workshops with many different Indigenous Artists, plan and put together a small art exhibition, and spend time learning from elders and community members. Your knowledge of KDFN and Yukon First Nation history will be shared with visiting tourists and locals looking to engage and learn more about our Cultural Centre.
Cultural Ambassadors will work in the summer season between May - September and must be between 15-30 years old as per funding requirements.
